The Arab Gulf States Institute (Washington, DC) published “Ammar Alsabban: Superman With a Saudi Accent”–Dr. Foley’s article on Saudi creative Ammar Alsabban. He has starred as a puppeteer on an Arabic version of “Sesame Street,” pioneered podcasting in Saudi Arabia, and produced the first Saudi family superhero series. He is redefining the creative limits of Saudi identity.
