On March 15, 2019 Dr. Foley delivered the academic keynote address to the Gulf Studies Symposium organized by the American University in Kuwait’s Center for Gulf Studies in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The conference featured a variety of scholars based at academic institutions in Asia, Europe, the Gulf, and the United States.
