Dr. Foley’s chapter, “Chapter 10: Why Riyadh is a Creative Centre in the Arab World,” was published today as part of Cultural Dynamos: Arab Artistic Hubs Since the Mid-Twentieth Century–an academic anthology edited by Dr. Nadia von Maltzahn and published in Berlin by De Gruyter Brill. The chapter builds on a paper he gave to ARTISTIC HUBS in and of the Arab Region in at the Orient-Institut Beirut, Lebanon in June 2024.
